Cloud Solutions Specialist
Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure this position encompasses the delivery of network projects and support services for all contracted and non-contracted network clients. The ideal candidate will have exceptional understanding of all portfolio solutions, services and all-round technical knowledge whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and communication. As this is a technical position, having a good technical knowledge of a range of business infrastructure and networks is paramount.
The role:
- Implementation and delivery of Cloud and Network projects to contracted and non- contracted customers (major)
- Recommendations of relevant new technical procedures to Technology Solutions Manager
- Direct and in-direct pre-sales assistance to sales team in solution design and delivery (EG major surveys and reports)
- Technical escalation points of contact for more junior engineers and support staff
- Eligible for delivery of out of hours network support services to contracted 24/7 customers, when required, on a rota basis (opt in)
- Delivery of network support services to contracted and non-contracted customers (where required)
- Onboarding of clients to allow them to be fully supported by the service support teams
- Ensuring all SLA obligations are met in delivery of above services (where required)
From a day-to-day perspective this role will require you to commute to / from our client sites and state of the art head office in Basildon, Essex.
To be successful you will:
- Be Conscientious, Detail orientated, Self-motivated, Data driven and Analytical
- Be qualified and hold a degree and / or A Level / BTEC equivalent in Computer Science / IT related subject
- CompTIA N+ and / or Microsoft specific qualifications (MCP / MCSE) and / or Cisco (CCNA)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator and/or Microsoft 365 Certifications (beneficial)
- VMWare Certified Professional (beneficial)
- ITIL Foundation (beneficial)
