THE CHALLENGE

Over the years, this charity has become increasingly aware of the importance of IT systems which run smoothly and reliably, growing ever more reliant on technology in its day-to-day business. All of the data is stored electronically, so being unable to access this would impact upon its ability to assist the needs of its customers. In short, system uptime is vital. With the central back office environment so heavily dependent upon IT – there is not a single department which could cope without its systems.

But the impact would not be limited to administrative staff at the charity’s headquarters. It also runs dozens upon dozens of care homes across the region, all accessing its network remotely, relying on these connections for information and communication.
