We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Account Director to join our amazing team. You will report directly to the Account Director Lead and be responsible for managing the strategic direction and relationship of a set of contracted Clients. As well as strategic relationship management, this role will establish itself as a trusted technology advisor to those Clients and roadmap their technology investment in line with their business goals.

This position requires clear communication, co-ordination, and management. The ability to work logically and maintain control whilst under pressure and make firm decisions based on common sense and judgement in difficult situations is paramount. It requires strong business acumen, the understanding of ROI and excellent industry knowledge.

The role:

  • Provide strategic advice and technology road mapping to a set of contracted Clients, focusing on business outcomes and ROI
  • Maintain key relationships with multiple “C” level and other key contacts within each business, adapting delivery based on the audience
  • Work closely with Consultancy, Project and Service Teams to ensure delivery of high quality services and solutions
  • Manage and maintain existing contract terms and renewals, ensuring relevant contractual obligations are met
  • Provide contracted Clients with required review meetings (face to face & virtual) in line with SLAs and KPIs
  • Achieve individual MRR targets by supplying the delivery of technology solutions, contracts, and services to existing Clients, maintaining a pipeline of active opportunities
  • Contribute to new business meetings and presentations, as and when required
  • Produce high quality proposals and Client documentation
  • Contribute to the success and development of the team, engaging in regular meetings and workshops

To be successful you will:

  • Possess a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for travel to Client locations primarily in the South East
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be qualified to Degree and/or A-Level standard in IT or related subjects; or have equivalent technical qualifications and strategic account management experience
  • Have good planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent understanding of current and future technology, with a robust understanding of traditional on-premises IT solutions and modern cloud based solutions
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and 365 Fundamentals desirable
  • A comprehensive understanding of the commercial impact technology has on a business
  • Be a UK resident
