Workspaces: 'best feature' in Sage 200

According to many Utilize clients, the top feature of Sage 200 is workspaces. This system of organising screen layouts makes information within the suite more available to users in their day-to-day roles. Read the feature below or download the webcast to find out more about workspaces.

Workspaces provide a simple yet flexible way to bring business data from a variety of sources together with Sage 200 data, presenting the user with business critical information at a glance.

Sage 200 comes with ten standard 'out of the box' workspaces but also includes a designer tool that allows for customisation or creation of new workspaces. Individual users can each work with different personalised displays configured to meet their own individual requirements.

Workspaces offer a high degree of customisability without the need for developer tools including:

Creation and amendment of queries on Sage 200 data

• 

Configuration of list filters

• 

Configuration of default column visibility, sorting and column ordering

• 

Composition of new Workspaces

• 

Configuration of column naming and formatting

• 

Linking of list data to web pages

• 

Configuration of list context menu contents
